In our fifth year, Coaching the Coaches offers a stellar panel of clincians for what promises to be the best-yet programme for Soccer coaches. This year's clinicians offer a wealth of experience at the CIS, NCAA, National, and International levels. It is sure to be an outstanding weekend for coaches of the beautiful game.

Stephen Hart
Head Coach, Team Canada
Stephen HartStephen Hart was recently named full-time head coach of Canada's National Team. Hart will be in charge of Canada's qualification efforts as Canada works toward the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. His extensive experience includes: Head Coach of 2007 Team Canada's CONCACAF representative; Head Coach Canada's U-17 Men's National Team (2001-2006); Instructor in Canadian Soccer Association coaching development program; Former Technical Director of Soccer Nova Scotia and Director of the Atlantic Region National Training Centre in Halifax.
Tony Fonseca
Head Coach, Canadian Soccer Association National Youth Team & National Team Staff Coach
Tony FonsecaAssistant Coach with 2007 Canadian National Team; 2000-2008 Vancouver Whitecaps Assistant Coach, Head Coach and Technical Director Whitecaps Academy - Responsible for Training and Development of players ; A native of Lisbon, Portugal, Tony played 7 times for the Portuguese National Team; 15 seasons as a player at the professional level in Portugal including 4 years with S.L. Benfica and 7 seasons with C.F. Estrela da Amadora; Tony completed his playing career with the Vancouver 86ers.
Ian Bridge
Head Coach, Victoria Highlanders PDL
Ian BridgeIan Bridge is the Head Coach of the Victoria Highlanders PDL Men’s Team. This is Ian’s 21st year of coaching as he began as a Player-Coach for FC La Chaux-de-Fonds,Switzerland in 1989. Since then he has served as a Coach with the Victoria Vistas (1990), Head Coach with the University of Victoria Women’s Team(1991-2001), Assistant Coach of the Canadian Women’s National Team (1996-2009), Head Coach of the Canadian Women’s U19/U20 National Team (2001-2008), and Head Coach of the Canadian Women’s U17 National Team (2008-2009). Due to his stellar playing career which included 15 years on Youth, Olympic, and National Teams for Canada and a professional career spanning 1978-1991, Ian was inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame in 2003. His professional playing career was spent with the Seattle Sounders, Vancouver Whitecaps NASL, Tacoma Stars MISL,FC La Chaux-de-Fonds Swiss LNA/LNB, Victoria Vistas, and the North York Rockets CSL.
Neil Sedgwick
Head Coach, University of Montana Women's Soccer
Neil SedgwickThe 2010 season marks Neil Sedgwick’s seventh year as head coach of the University of Montana women’s soccer program. Sedgwick, who coached at North Dakota in 1999 and 2000, is in his ninth year as a US collegiate head coach. He spent three seasons as associate head coach at USC in between head coaching stints. Sedgwick led Montana to the four-team Big Sky Conference tournament in 2004, 2006 and 2008. A native of Sackville, Nova Scotia, Sedgwick has been coaching soccer since 1988. After stints as an assistant coach, Sedgwick got his first head coaching position at King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he coached in 1992 and 1993. In 1996 Sedgwick took an assistant coaching position at Dalhousie University in Halifax . At DU, Sedgwick coached under Neil Turnbull, then the head coach of the Canadian national team. The position allowed Sedgwick to work on the national team staff for the next three years.
Carmine Isacco
Head Coach, York University Men's Soccer
Carmine IsaccoCarmine Isacco is in his 4th year as Head Coach of the York University Lions Men’s Soccer Team. In 2010, Isacco's Lions claimed their second CIS championship. He was named CIS and OUA coach of the year in his first year with the team, a season that ended with an OUA title and a fourth-place finish at the CIS championship. His second year was even better as Isacco guided the Lions to a national title, the program’s first in 31 years and York’s first in any sport since 1990. Carmine joined the Lions after spending two seasons as the head coach with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. His coaching career has also seen him claim a national championship with the Hearts-Azzurri SC in the under-18 division. As head coach of Toronto Supra in the Canadian Professional Soccer League (CPSL), Isacco was named coach of the year in 2002 in the Ontario Youth Soccer League. As a player, Isacco took to the pitch at the University of Maryland. He then turned professional and played with Toronto Italia, the Milwaukee Rampage, the Rochester Rhinos and the Toronto Lynx.
